How The Alternative Trauma Psychotherapist came to be?

This approach was born out of years of working as a Psychotherapist, finding my own way through life's challenges and a life-long quest for understanding human suffering. This search has taken me to Buddhism, Vipassana, Yoga Ashrams, studying ancient texts, exploring current science and understanding.  And I believe brought challenges to my life that I have learned to heal from and therefore hope to help others in the same way I was helped.

Desire to offer more than the linear - thought/cognitive plane of understanding our psyche. understanding that we are complex multifaceted beings, that reducing our suffering and healing down to thoughts and words whilst sitting in a chair did not feel enough. Since 2016 I have been exploring Alternative Healing Practices. I have practiced Yoga from a young age. And alongside my career as a Psychotherapist I practiced healing through Yoga and meditation.
