CBT is based on the theory that thoughts, feelings, what we do, and how our bodies feel, are all connected.

By changing one of these we can alter all the others.

It is one of the most effective and scientifically-founded therapies available, and I’m passionate about what it can do. CBT can disentangle severe and distressing situations, especially if supported with good conditions. It is the only therapy with clear, specific tools for breaking out of negative or harmful cycles. Change can happen quickly; often with results as soon as the tools are put into action. It may be a cliche but the more you put in, the more you’ll get out. The tools of CBT help you to take the reins of your life again, and take control of the situation. It’s empowering. Having a specific way to approach things means that you can trust the process. You are in safe hands.
